Will they use our whole family?
Clients will not always use you as a family unit, sometimes they may spilt you up, mum and not dad, one sibling and not another, or sometimes they will mix you with other external family members. Never take it personally, a client will just have an image in their minds of what they are looking for.
Do we need passports?
Absolutely, UA have had some amazing family jobs to Mexico, Caribbean and USA. Please keep them updated .
Are our expenses covered?
Yes they would be, from travel to locations to flights, hotels and food. The clients would have this organised.
What does ‘pencilled’ mean?
A pencil is essentially a shortlist. It means that the casting team liked your family self tape and want you to pencil you all for the shooting dates so that another client can’t book you should they want to confirm you for the job!
How do the rates work?
Clients will either pay a fee for a family group or they will pay each member individually, adults in general will get paid more than a child.
